On the 15th November Members of the Hua Hin Women’s Club and The Venezia provided a big treat for 21 students from the Baan PhaTeng and Kho Pituk Schools. The kids (aged from 5 to 12 years of age) had never eaten sticky rice and barbecue pork before and live in small bamboo houses in the hills. For them this was a big day out at the Venezia and included gifts of folding mattresses and blankets.
They were all very happy and thanked their lucky stars. The leaders of the Hua Hin Women’s Club were Khun Liza Onhang, the President, Khun Pranom Chopoo Vice President and Khun Bunjama Sathukran, consultant. Organisation of the project was by Khun Monsicha (Monica) Westerlund and other Members of the Club. They (and the kids) offered their thanks to the Venezia as sponsors of the day.
