Most tourists that stay in Hua Hin or ChaAm and many long stayers are oblivious to the existence of Springfield’s “Tranquil” Beach. It is described as “tranquil” since it is far away from the maddening crowds of its big brother beaches in Hua Hin and Cha-Am.
This is the beach to visit to “chill out” away from it all, have a soothing beach side massage and sample fresh seafood dishes with sand under your feet and watch the world go by.
Getting to this hideaway beach is straight forward. Just follow the directions from our map.
There is road about 1km long with easy free parking. All of the many beach side bars and restaurants are great, most bars and restaurants offer refreshingly cool drinks and a superb range of food to suit all tastes from Thai to International.
For the more adventurous, you can decide to walk either north towards Cha-Am or south towards Hua Hin, along the sandy beach stopping on the way for refreshments. For me, I just like to chill.
After the end of a very hard day on this tranquil beach, why not stop for a soothing massage followed by a drink or two prior to having an exquisite and not expensive evening meal as Anne and Ralf
from Germany are going to do later in the evening.
In summary, if you have never been fortunate enough to try out Springfield’s “Tranquil” beach during your holiday, then I reckon that you are missing out. Going there just for one day will give you a different perspective on your holiday and something that you will remember very fondly for a long time to come.
