Last month I was invited to go and try the Royal Rose Facial at the Intercontinental Resort and Spa and I loved every minute. It was exactly what I needed after so much sun and stress from work.
Atmosphere
The spa is full of soothing fragrances and quite tones to relax you immediately. The Treatment The Royal Rose Facial is for all skin types. The treatment started with cleansing.
My therapist wrapped my hair with a towel and began a thorough cleansing using cotton pads and sponges. She cleaned off all my make-up and then scrubbed my face. Every movement was so smooth and relaxing that you could easily fall asleep. Then a gentle rose mask was applied to my face which smelt like Turkish Delight. The mask is so unbelievably soft and friendly to sensitive skins. The mask was applied for around 20 minutes and at the same time a head massage sent me to heaven.
The Result
When the eye pads came off, I felt really rather bouncy and my skin, although naked, looked clean, smooth and moisturised. Suppleness and softness was restored and my skin glowed with radiance.
My experience
