The new Mazda showroom is now officially opened in Hua Hin with the investment of 20 million Baht. Featuring new sedans and pickups as well as a big multi-purposed car care center, it is now ready to welcome both Thai and foreign customers.
On the first day of the opening, 30 cars were already sold whilst more were reserved.
Mr. Wijarn Issararee, the managing director of Wijarn Siri Co. Ltd., said that this Mazda showroom, launched with collaboration of the headquarters in Japan and located at the entrance of the Boh Faai community, was the 100th branch in Thailand. In Prachuab Khirikhan, there are 2 existing Mazda showrooms, in Pranburi and Hua Hin. Both of them have a sales office, a spare parts department and counter sales and a car service center, workshop.

The opening ceremony on the 5th of February 2012 was attended by the governor of Prachuab Khirikhan, the president of Mazda (Thailand) Co. Ltd., and Maj. Wanchana Sawasdee, a famous celebrity of Thailand and a leading actor of the well-known epic, “King Naresuan”. It also highlighted the Mazda 3 sedan, a modern high-standard and compact car suitable for daily use for families and business, and the 2,000 CC BT 50 pickup which is, despite its big size, very fast and ideal for long distance transport. Both of them have energy saving features. “Now, customers can buy our cars easily with a down payment and monthly installment”
Prices vary from 500,000 upwards. However, after-sale service, maintenance and spare parts are surprisingly cheap,” said Mr. Wijarn. “We also welcome foreign customers in Hua Hin or other neighboring areas who want to buy a car. In this case, they need to bring an official I.D. card or proof of nationality. Those who are married to a Thai spouse can buy a car more easily.”
