Alexander Eaton was appointed General Manager of the 4-star Novotel Hua Hin Cha Am Beach Resort & Spa in August 2016. The hotel is a top family resort, and meeting & convention venue in Hua Hin. The hotel was inducted into the TripAdvisor’s ‘Hall of Fame’ in 2015 for being the fifth consecutive recipient of its ‘Certificate of Excellence’. The 2009 graduate from the University of San Francisco with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) majoring in Business & Hospitality Industry Management, Alexander Eaton also worked at independent restaurants in San Francisco. Mr. Eaton started at Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide Inc. in the US before transferring to the 5-star Sheraton Noosa Resort & Spa in Queensland, Australia where he was Hotel Operations Manager and was instrumental to the hotel being ranked the top three in four categories among 14 Starwood Hotels and Resorts in the Pacific Region.

The Australian arrived in Thailand in 2014 as Director of Operations of the Hilton Hua Hin Resort & Spa and appointed Acting General Manager during hotel renovations. Appointed as General Manager of the Swissotel Resort Phuket Kamala Beach in October 2015, his successful turnaround of the 180-suite Accor Luxury Resort & Spa with three food and beverage venues resulted in his transfer to Novotel Hua Hin.
