The Hua Hin Mayor Mr. Jira Phongphaiboon urged taxpayers in Hua Hin to submit taxpaying forms on property, land, local maintenance and billboards of 2011 on time.
According to the Property and Land Act B.E. 2475, the Billboard Taxing Act B.E. 2510 and the Local Maintenance Act B.E. 2508, all taxpayers must send the concerned taxpaying forms to the governmental auditor. So, the taxpayers for property and lands need to obtain the taxpaying form 2 – known in Thai as Pho Ror Dor 2 – and submit it to the auditor from now on to 28 February 2011.
Once notified, they can process the payment within 30 days. For the local maintenance tax, taxpayers can send the form until 30 April 2011. To pay for billboard taxes, it needs the taxpaying form 1 – known in Thai as Pho Por 1 – which must be submitted to the auditor until 31 March 2011. Once notified, taxpayers can process the payment within 15 days. Those who are late for taxpaying will be liable for extra charges.
To facilitate all taxpayers, the Division of Finance, Hua Hin Municipality, extends its service hours at lunchtime from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. from Monday to Friday, and from 8.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. on Saturday. For more information on taxpaying, please contact the Division of Finance at tel. 032 511 047 ext. 104.
