

The Thailand football season has come to an end with the focus now on the national side’s performance at the 2014 Asian Games in Incheon South Korea. In the Regional League Central West Division, Hua Hin City Football Club topped the table with 51 points with 15 wins and 6 drawn games during the 26 game season. In second position was Petchaburi Football Club, just 2 points behind. The other good news in the approval of a new football stadium for Hua Hin with construction soon to be underway. This will be a facility near the city, due for completion by mid-year 2015. A higher profile to local football in 2015 is anticipated. With a modern and more central location and the local team will be set to establish a bigger supporter base in the quest for promotion to the Division One status.
