Having been a massage therapist for thirty years, I was so happy to find myself living in Thailand, the land of massage and even more happy to be doing reviews of wonderful off the track little spas like SATIRA SPA. Having this great job allows me to find the most special and little known massage places that are not connected to the big hotels and this indeed, is a superb find.
The Satira Spa is part of the Herbs Hotel in Petchkasem road and not the Herbs by the Sea hotel on Nahb Kae Hart road near the beach, although they are one and the same. A truly warm and gracious welcome awaits you at this Spa and massage treatments by well trained and knowledgeable therapist. What made this visit even better for me were the products that are on sale. So often after a facial or a massage I have wanted to buy the products that have been used during the treatment, only to find that they are not kept in stock.
Here a range of aromatherapy oils and products for face and body are available .A full facial range such as facial massage essence and hydra eye gel cooling and calming with Aloe Vera and Centella bring back youth and vitality to the eyes. Body product packs that make wonderful gifts are available like Orange Energy, Relax Lavender and Warm Vanilla, who can resist???
Hand creams, body lotions and shower gels and many other wonderful aromatherapy shampoos and conditioners, I landed in gift paradise!!! So many times, one searches for a gift and just cant find the right thing, well search no more SATIRA SPA has it all there under one roof for you. Aromatherapy oil massages and hot compress traditional Thai massage and a varied menu of treatments awaits you at this special place.
A coffee shop and bakery are being created so that the memorable visit to SATIRA SPA can be rounded off with a fabulous coffee after your day at the Spa. Perfect!! Prices are very reasonable and I am sure that once you try this Spa it will become a favorite, it certainly is one of mine.
