22 Apr; Mr. Nopporn Wutthikul, Mayor of Hua Hin, and the municipal council went to the area of Soi Chonlaprathan to check the roads and drainage issues due to the construction of a double-track train. The water from the houses could not be drained into the original drainage path through the railway tunnel at the end of the alley, causing flooding and smelly waste water.
There has been a coordinated effort with the double track construction contractor to make a temporary drainage channel in order to drain the flood water, also in place is a plan for a permanent pipe system after the construction of the double track is finished.
