A delightful night of Loy Krathong Festival 2014 was recently held at Centara Grand Beach Resort and Villas Hua Hin. Activities were organized throughout the day, starting auspiciously with a competition for the best decorated “krathong”. The evening event was opened by a welcome cocktail with a live harmonious harp performance to welcome the guests. Over 160 guests enjoyed a delicious array of authentic Thai Buffet, contemporary Thai performances, Miss Noppamas Beauty Pageant, live music by Kool N’ Jazz Band, and lucky draw prizes. The marvelous night ended up with floating of the Krathongs in the pool to let go of misfortunes or bad things in the past and bringing good luck in the future, as a Thai belief.
