

On Saturday the 14th of January 2012, three gentlemen were having a great street party in the Suk Sabai 2 at soi 102. To celebrate their 180 years birthday. Jonas Looström 50 years old, Freddie Larsson 60 years old and Tom “Rosa” Malmros 70 year old.
They had specifically asked the over 100 invited guests not to bring gifts and presents but instead spend money on lotteries, amusements and give to the charity fund raising at the party. All money spent by guests were collected to be fully given to two schools for orphan children in and outside Hua Hin; Baan Norghieng School, near the Black Mountain Golf Club and Baan Nongpranpuk School 5 kms outside Hua Hin.
The total amount of money at the party was 72, 000 baht and representatives for the two schools were given a symbolic check at the party to show what the schools can expect to receive in goods and necessary things within the next coming weeks.
The schools were represented by Khun. Pattraporn Nuean and Khun. Araya Wongpideah (Baan Norghieng School) and Khun. Kunnika Paslang and Khun. Oatchariyaphan Yongprayoon (Baan Nongpranpuk School )
The short ceremony was followed by a spectacular firework as the dining and dancing continued.
Freddie Larsson hopes that this initiative can be followed by other Farangs throwing a party for friends.
“Feel free to follow our example” Tom Malmros continues to Hua Hin Today that the three of them were very pleased with the party and with the result of the fund raising and as they all state: “It feels very good to give to children in need” and Tom Malmros end with: “We have almost everything, the children have a lot less”.
