On 26th April it was reported that a decision had been made to withdraw from the 2016 season. An announcement followed that significant penalties would apply, including team suspension for 2 years. Accordingly an article for the Hua Hin Today May edition was not included as the position was far from clear. On 4th May the dispute was settled and the team returned to the league.
The game not played on 1st May against Chumphon FC was re-scheduled to 1st June. Sanchai Pahukarn, Hua Hin Team Manager then stated: “Our players already got back training and they remain in good spirits as we prepare for our next game, a visit to Nonthaburi FC on May 7th.” Let’s hope that the remainder of the season will be without these uncertainties so that fans can just enjoy the football! Hua Hin City suffered the team’s first loss of the season on 22nd May however there is a game in hand because of the re-scheduled game against Chumphon FC.
