Built upon the success of previous years, Hua Hin Football World Cup is now gearing up for its 3rd tournament. The tournament is held on 5th and 6th of December to celebrate the birthday of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej. In last year’s final, Finland vs Sweden, Finland triumphed beating Sweden 3 – 2. The tournament is played on an artificial turf grass field with 6 players a side. Although, matches are friendly, the referee controlling the games makes sure all players keep to the Rules. Entry is still open for more players from all nationalities to help make 2015 the best one yet.

If you fancy representing your country at this premier sporting event, visit the Facebook page to register your interest. Players competing will be able to keep their national football kit. There will be sandwiches, free water provided (by Red Piano Restaurant) and on the 6th December, a ‘grand celebration’. Spectators are welcome to cheer on their national team with games commencing at 9:00am at the grounds at a side street (Charoen Phatthana pattana soi 2) of soi 94. Sponsors This year major local sponsorship has been provided by the Red Piano Restaurant and Wine Bar in Hua Hin.

The organisers would like to thank Mr. Anthony Kelly and Mrs. Chayanisa Kelly from Red Piano for making this possible. The second sponsor is VIQUA, the number 1 UV light water filter system company in the world. Special thanks have also been offered to Mr. Thomas Andersson, owner and CEO of VIQUA for supporting the tournament. Footnote: This is a friendly yet competitive tournament and a family event; anyone who plays in an unfriendly, dangerous or violent manner will be excluded from the tournament without warning!
