On 14th June 2016 Supaporn Narit Sirikul President of the Provincial Red Cross opened World Blood Donor Day 2559. Mr. Suttipong Klayudom, District Chief Officer and President of the Red Cross branch in Hua Hin also welcomed Admiral Kosit Jeamsuphakit Commander of the 1st Fleet and Ms Busaba Chok Suchart Deputy Mayor of Hua Hin.
Many distinguished guests from government agencies and the private sector attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony at the Red Cross Office in Hua Hin. Every year on 14th June, countries around the world celebrate World Blood Donor Day (WBDD). The event, established in 2004, serves to raise awareness of the need for safe blood and blood products, and to thank blood donors for their voluntary, life-saving gifts of blood.
