Runners from around the world will be coming to Cha-Am for the upcoming 4th Singha Bikini Beach Run 2012.
With its overwhelming success in the previous year, the 4th Singha Bikini Beach Run, organized by the Cha-Am Municipality with cooperation of the Phetchaburi Tourism Business Promotion Association and the Singha Corporation, will take place on the 18th of March.
Aiming to promote tourism in Cha-Am and its neighboring areas and introduce a new kind of exercise that suits well with this beachfront city, the event encourages participants to do running on the road and on the beach together. In so doing, it will become a famous and traditional activity of the city eventually.
The 4th Singha Bikini Beach Run, starting at 6 a.m. in front of the Long Beach Cha-Am, will consist of 4 and 9 kilometer bikini and sportswear runs.
The past events saw many world-class runners from Kenya, Japan, Australia and the Scandinavian countries joining with the main aim to win the award and enjoy beautiful Thai beaches. The upcoming one is likewise sure to welcome more participants thanks to unique characteristics, convenient location and various accommodations in Cha-Am.
