The Vintage Car Club of Thailand, the Amari Hua Hin Hotel, the Hua Hin Municipality and the Tourism Authority of Thailand will host “The 11th Hua Hin Vintage Car Parade” with the theme of ‘We Left Our Hearts in Hua Hin’ from December 13th to 15th.
Kwanchai Paphatphong, the President of the Vintage Car Club of Thailand, said; “towards the end of 2012 the Club made a decision to join hands with its new ally the Amari Hua Hin Hotel in staging the Hua Hin Vintage Car Parade. The event was a great success, attracting Thai and foreign tourists and enlivening the City of Hua Hin.
The Club is continuing a close collaboration with the Amari Hua Hin Hotel, the Hua Hin Municipality and the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) and now preparing to host the 11th Hua Hin Vintage Car Parade. The Club believes that everyone participating in the event will have lasting memories to fit in with the theme of leaving their heart in Hua Hin.
The Hua Hin Vintage Car Parade provides an opportunity for the public to get up close and be photographed with over 50 rare vintage, classic and custom cars. The cars are valued at over 300 million Baht.
There will also be many other fun activities to enjoy. The event will also be an occasion for vintage car enthusiasts to meet and exchange experiences about their cars and help support the Club’s charity work with the “Lom Hai Jai Rai Monthin” Foundation in buying bicycles and to donate to youth in need.
Christoph Leonard, the General Manager of Amari Hua Hin and co-organiser, says it is a treat for him to work with the Club for the second year. The Hotel is capable and ready in terms of both staff and space with over 10,000 square metres available. This area will be decorated to reflect a retro theme for the caravan of vintage cars and visitors to the event. Clientele of the Hotel will have a chance to see the display of cars in front of the Amari for a week prior to the event.
All Visitors are invited to have their photographs taken with the vintage cars and the “We Left Our Hearts in Hua Hin” placard, then upload them onto the Amari Hua Hin Hotel Facebook for a contest. The photo receiving the most “like” clicks will win a voucher for 1-night 2-day stay in a luxury room with de luxe ocean view complete with breakfast for 2 persons, worth 15,000 Baht. The 4 runners-up will be given other prizes worth over 30,000 Baht in total. The contest will be open from December 5th until December 17th. The names of the 5 winners will be announced on December 25th, 2013.
