On 9th September 2013, Mr. Natthaphol Pholyiem, one of the best chefs from Amari Hua Hin, and other top quality chefs from Hua Hin’s deluxe hotels, namely Hilton, Marrakesh, G Hotel, Springfield and Sheraton, celebrated their success from the recent international culinary competition in Pattaya.
Representing Hua Hin as a member of the team entitled, Culinary Academy Hua Hin, Mr. Natthaphol was ranked third in the competition and won a trophy awarded by Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn.
The team celebrated their success at Shoreline Beach Club, Amari Hua Hin with the Hua Hin Mayor Mr. Nopporn Wutthikul and municipal staff. A member of Pranburi Provincial Council who represented Mr. Chalermchai Sri-ona Member of the Thai Parliament, gave the Mayor a medal of honour for his constant moral support for the winning team.
The biggest international competition of gastronomic and service industries in Thailand, the Pattaya City Culinary Cup showcases professional chefs and judging committee members from Thailand and many countries: Singapore, Taiwan, Malaysia, Hong Kong, the Czech Republic, Australia, Myanmar, England, China, Cambodia and South Korea.
