On April 2013 ,The Sheraton Hua Hin Resort & Spa is delighted to announce a gastronomic evening of fine wines from the Hua Hin Hills Vineyard paired with culinary creations by the Director of Culinary & Service, Andreas Schimanski. This will create an indulgent and memorable evening where Pan-Asian cuisine blends impeccably with award-winning wines from the “Monsoon Valley” range. Assistant Wine Maker Khun Suppached Sasomsin will be proudly presenting his selection of exceptional wines made from international grape varieties grown at the Hua Hin Hills Vineyard.
The dinner will be held at InAzia, which has just been awarded one of Thailand’s Best Restaurants by the Thailand Tatler for the 5th consecutive time. Diners will be treated to a delectable culinary journey beginning with a pre-dinner cocktail on the newly renovated InAzia Terrace featuring Monsoon Valley Sparkling Blanc de Blancs accompanied by the Chef’s tasty savory delights.
The Menu will then feature creations from the three signature cuisines served at the InAzia; namely Japanese, Indian and Thai. The first of the four exquisite courses will be Seared Tuna Tataki with ginger soy emulsion and avocado along with sumptuous fine De Claire oysters served with Monsoon Valley Colombard 2012. Next will be Tandoori Salmon with Palak Aloo Tikki and Mango Chutney. This Indian specialty will be accompanied by Monsoon Valley White Shiraz, Thailand’s first ever crafting of Shiraz grapes into white wine. The menu progresses with Black Angus Beef Medallion in Black Pepper Sauce, paired with Monsoon Valley Shiraz. The Shiraz is slowly matured in German and French oak barrels to develop rich flavors of ripe plum with sour cherry aromas and coffee notes. As the deserts finale, a Flamed Lemon Meringue Tart will be served complemented by Monsoon Valley Fortified Muscat.
