There is a new Pub & Guesthouse in town the place is run by Swiss/ Canadian Philippe Dougound known commonly as Doug to friends and customers alike. The bar is situated in Khao Takiap just opposite from where you would turn to Soi Mooban Huadon towards Anantasila by the Sea, the place is not hard to find as it’s the only 3 storey orange house in that corner. Doug and gang serve standard drinks, beer and of course Guinness. As a matter fact we heard they serve Guinness just the way it should be and we even heard the sentence “ the best Guinness”. The place is very homey in classy way, with huge TV;s in two areas of the bar where you can watch your favorite Sports matches (and they all the channels!) but also has small corners where you can chill out with friends plus an outside deck. Soon they will be serving Burgers (home made from scratch), Proper chicken wings and other snacks. So do go down for a drink you might stay all night as they have a serious music system set up and you might not leave to anywhere else after that. Don’t be the last know about this place.
