Celebration of the Chinese New Year in Hua Hin has already ended … with great success. This year some highlighted events included lion acrobatics and dancing, the golden dragon dance and a contest of Chinese kids. The contest was attended by many lots of children.  Wasin Sudsawad was the male winner and Natthicha Sopphamit was the female winner. Both are students from Sathukarn Witthaya High School.
The judges unanimously declared them to be the winners. They showed how to give New Year’s wishes in Chinese with some awesome body language and were awarded gold necklaces worth a total of 15,000 Baht. The prizes were awarded by Deputy Mayor of Hua Hin and Montree Chuphu and Jarin Suksawas, the General Manager of Hua Hin Market Village. The closing ceremony saw a gold dragon acrobatics show from the Luk Heng Jia Acrobatics Group.
