The Cha-Am Municipality hosted a celebration of Queen Sirikit’s birthday which also marks Thailand’s National Mother Day on 12th August 2013. On this occasion, a mother from every local community in the City received a special Mother Day award.
The event, taking place in front of the Cha-Am Municipality, was hosted by the Mayor of Cha-Am, Mr. Nukul Pornsomboonsiri, the Cha-Am District Chief Mr. Sermsak Seesan along with local people from the community. It featured a big city cleaning effort during day and a candle lit ceremony at night. All participants expressed gratitude to Her Majesty. Finally there were stage performances to celebrate the Queen’s birthday.
The special Mother Day Awards were made to:
