The Hua Hin Cultural Council, with cooperation of Hua Hin District Office, Singha Corporation and Hua Hin Municipality, is organizing the 8th cultural event to honor His Majesty the King between 7 and 8 December 2012 at Phon Kingphet Memorial Park in Hua Hin.
Aiming to foster Thai tradition and culture, raise awareness of young generations about the issue and promote local traditional and culture in Thailand and Hua Hin for both Thais and foreigners, this event features a contest of Thai manners and etiquette, a singing contest of songs composed by His Majesty, a fashion show of Thai clothes, a beauty pageant, an auction of portraits of His Majesty painted by artists from the Hua Hin Artists Village, stage performances by students of Hua Hin municipal schools and selling of local products from Prachuap Khirikhan.
