Dusit Thani Hua Hin’s Sports and Guest Activities Department recently organized the 2013 Dusit Charity 5-A-Side Football League to support the Dusit Smiles for Operation Smile project. 8 teams competed and to help bonding amongst the entire hotel staff, each consisted of no more than one player from any single department. Funds were raised through agreed transfer fees for players being paid into a donation box which was swelled by disciplinary fines for red or yellow cards dished out by referees.
All charitable money, after cost deduction, was passed on to Dusit Smile for Operation Smiles, the organisation that helps fund remedial surgery for children born with cleft lips and palates around Thailand.
