The hotel and resort affiliates of Anantara Group, the host of the upcoming elephant polo competition for His Majesty the King’s trophy, is now launching a drawing contest entitled, “Elephant in my Heart”. This contest aims to raise awareness about the need to protect Thai elephants amongst Thai youths and adults through artistic works.
Contestants should be 7 to 12 years old. Each can submit only one work made on an A3 sized paper or canvas. The picture or drawing may be with colours and any type. It must be originate from the contestants’ creativity and certified by their school director, Â teacher or parents.
Judging will be by qualified committee members and public voting from www.facebook.com/anatara. All contestants will also be invited to the elephant polo competition from 28th August to 1st September at Anantara Hua Hin Resort and Spa. Â As well as free accommodation and food, they will receive transport reimbursement, a certificate and a T-shirt of the event. Â The prizes are valued at 70,000 Baht.
Contestants can submit their work to the PR Division of Anantara Resort and Spa, 17, Berli Jukker 99 Bldg., Soi Rubia, Prakhanong District, Bangkok 10110. The submission deadline is 31st July and the result will be announced on 9th August at www.facebook.com.
