In May of this year, the newly launched Golf booking portal www.golfcitizen.com announced an exciting series of events to be held at its partner Club throughout Thailand.
The GOLF CITIZEN Open Series will be run from June – December with several qualifying event scheduled in order to find the field of players to compete at the GOLF CITIZEN Open Grand Final in Hua Hin in December.The top placed players in this Grand Finals will receive a VIP trip to Dubai to attend the 25th anniversary Omega Dubai Desert Classic in January 2014. The winners will also participate in the Pro-Am in the lead up to the event.
The first of the national qualifiers was held at Banyan Golf Club on Saturday June 1st and the players played out a Stableford Competition with 3 Grand Final places on offer. The course was set up to give everyone a chance to qualify and the top 3 players at the end of play were;

The next opportunity for players to qualify for the GOLF CITIZEN Open Grand Final will be at Bangsai Country Club on July 1st and then on July 13th at Hua Hin’s Lakeview Golf & Country Club. Full details of the event can be downloaded from www.golfcitizen.com
