In celebration of Hilton Worldwide’s second annual Global Week of Service, October 6 – 12, more than 100 volunteers from Hilton Hua Hin Resort & Spa lead by Michael Schmitt, General Manager and team members were involved in a School Backyard Garden Project at the Baan Kok Chang Pattana School. This provided an opportunity for students to improve their self-sufficiency by growing organic vegetables to help improve the diet of local children.
Baan Kok Chang Pattana is a primary school, located at Tambol Nong Plub Amphur Hua Hin, about 45 km away from the hotel. There are 80 students from nursery to primary classes. Most of students are from poor agricultural and farmer families.
