The Department of Skill Development’s Office in Ratchaburi has recently approved a budget for professional training in hotel and restaurant services for anyone who would like to work in the area. The training, which is free of charge, will take place from Monday to Friday at Regent Cha-Am Hospitality School in Phetchaburi for 3 months, starting from Monday, 18th May 2015, between 8.30 a.m. and 5 p.m. Those interested in participating in the training should:
1. be 18 years old;
2. complete the minimum level of compulsory education;
3. be interested in food and beverage services;
4. be able to attend the 280-hour theory-based training; and
5. be available for a 140-hour internship at hotels provided by the Department of Skill Development.

After completing the training, the trainees will receive a certificate on food and beverage services. On the last day of the training, the trainees will be paid a lump sum of 400 Baht for their transportation from and to the training venue. The organisers will also pay the trainees a sum of 80 THB per day.
