Nine golf courses in Phetchaburi and Prachuab Khirikhan are taking part in the 12th Annual Hua Hin/Cha-Am Golf Festival from 4th August to 6th October. Â For the months of August and September Green Fees will be 999 THB but golfers are also offered the chance of winning a Honda Brio Amaze.
This Festival has been a yearly Event since 2002. The Golf Festival was initiated in the Western Region or Hua Hin/Cha-Am as a pilot project and others which followed. The Festival has been arranged in cooperation with the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), Petchaburi and Prachuap Khirikhan TAT Offices, the Petchaburi/Prachuap Khirikhan Golf Course Association and the provincial offices of Phetchaburi and Prachuab Khirikhan.
The Golf Courses involved are the Sawang Resort Golf Club, Springfield Royal Golf Country Club, Palm Hills Golf Resort, The Imperial Lake View, Kaeng Krachan Country Club, The Majestic Creek Country Club, The Eagle Milford Golf Club, Royal Hua Hin Golf Club and Suan Son Pradiphat Sport Club (Sea Pines).
Golfers who play golf at these Courses throughout August and September will be entitled to enter a lucky draw for a Honda Brio Amaze motor vehicle. The lucky draw will take place at the closing ceremony of the event on 6th October at The Imperial Lake View. On that day the, “Champion of the Champions 2013” will be decided with 16 golfers who were successful competitors at the 8 Special Events during the Festival will battling it out for this honour.
The main aim of this event is to celebrate HRH Queen Sirikit’s birthday anniversary on 12th August and encourage golf enthusiasts in the two provinces to play golf at Courses of an international standard. Doing so will also help promote tourism in Phetchaburi and Prachuab Khirikhan during the current low season.
