On 10 November, Venerable Phra Khru Khajit Tham Sophon, Buddhist nun Phathu Huadhin and the abbot of Wat Suksamran Buddhist Monastery welcomed members of the Thai elite family ‘Thephatsadin Na Ayutthaya’ led by Lt. Gen. Suphot and Mr. Surachai Thephatsadin Na Ayutthaya who visited the temple to attend a Buddhist ceremony of offering monk robes to mark the end of Thai Lent or ‘Kathin Ceremony’. On this occasion, the family and participants donated over 900,000 Baht to support the temple’s work for local schools and universities.
