Management and marketing approach of pineapple production


Subcommittee on Propagation, Development, and Solution of Marketing and Export of Pineapple The meeting was held on last month, with Deputy Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Commerce was beside over the meeting.

The province where pineapple is grown and Pineapple processing plants are located in a radius of 100 km (12 provinces), including Uthai Thani, Suphan Buri, Kanchanaburi, Ratchaburi, Samut Songkhram, Phetchaburi, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chachoengsao, Chonburi, Rayong, Chanthaburi, and Trat.

This has the Management Process Method as follows. 1. Urgency proceeded. 1.1 Request for a cooperation of processing plants to buy pineapple production from agriculture at least 6,000 tons per day. 1.2 For fresh consumption, to disperse the quantity of output from the system during the period of mass production to the market at the same time by through marketing channels such as department stores, public markets, blue flags shop stores by government 1.3 Quality control of harvesting for fresh consumption, including supervising farmers in harvesting and public relations to consume pineapple more. 1.4 Support the famers to do the contract farming between farmers and processing plants, which has a push forward and encourage a fair contract commitment between them.
