Peter Mosselman was born in Johannesburg, South Africa but then the family moved to Stuttgart Germany where he spent his growing years. He describes his nationality as very mixed with a Dutch Father and a Mother who is half Australian and half German.
In 2005 he finished his apprenticeship as a Cook and Chef working in many different restaurants and catering services. He moved to Thailand in 2007 and worked for 6 months for the Dusit Resort in Hua Hin making pizzas.
Peter then opened his own restaurant next to the Dusit at the VIP Condochain to cater for the Webster university students who stay there. In 2008 he opened an Italian Restaurant in Soi 94 called Bella Mia.
In 2011 Peter sold this restaurant and opened another Italian Restaurant called La Familia in Soi 102 but this business has now been sold with his appointment as the new Chef at Bell’s.
Peter commented that expats around Hua Hin know him for his good pizzas!
