Mr. Thomas Barguil has been appointed General Manager at Anantara Hua Hin Resort & Spa.
Thomas, who is French, joins Anantara from The Residence Maldives, where he was General Manager since late 2010 during the pre-opening and opening period.
Thomas has worked in the hospitality industry for almost twenty years, starting his career at the Inter-Continental in Cannes working in both Food and Beverage and Rooms. He then specialised in F&B and worked his way up through the ranks in hotels in a number of countries including Egypt, Morocco, the Democratic Republic of Congo and Mauritius.
In Thailand Thomas has worked at the Novotel Bangkok Siam Square, Le Meridien Phuket (which sadly closed whilst Thomas was working there, following the tsunami) and The Evason Hua Hin Resort & Spa.
Thomas is married with two young daughters.
