Social dancing in vintage Thai style will take place at Plearnwan throughout this month. Entitled, ‘Floor Feung Fah’, the name of a well-known contemporary Thai song of the 50s, this event will begin at 4 p.m. every Saturday in March at the outdoor movie ground at Plearnwan.
Aiming to promote tourism in Hua Hin and preserve invaluable classic Thai songs, ‘Floor Feung Fah’ allows social dance lovers to indulge in the music and enjoy dancing in a delightful afternoon. Of particular importance are the songs composed by Ua Suthornsanan, a famous Thai composer recently honored by UNESCO.
Plearnwan serves as a centre of happiness where the yesteryear of Hua Hin is recognised, maintained and retold to visitors through chic fashion, traditional Thai coffee and well-known local cuisine. The Centre successfully brings back the good old days when Hua Hin was a small fishing village much favored by the Thai elite.
