The second Dried Squid and Seafood Tasting Festival is taking place between 10th and 11th August 2013 from 3 p.m. onwards each day on Pranburi beach.
One of the most famous holiday getaways of Prachuab Khirikhan, Pranburi is a district that boasts long stretching white sandy beaches and fresh seafood. ‘Muek Dad Diew’ or dried squid is one of the unmissable specialties the district has to offer to visitors. This festival will promote the local dish and other products of the district apart from boosting its tourism.
As its name suggests, the highlight of this event is various dishes made from dried squid and fresh seafood. Visitors can enjoy other activities like kitesurfing, shopping and bossa nova styled music on the beach performed by famous Thai artists, namely Tattoo Color, Room 39, ETC., La Ong Fong, Friday, Ann Thitima and others.
