From Asia to Europe to theAmericas, Sheraton Hotels & Resorts raised a glass and betting on its premium wine program, Sheraton Social Hour. Sheraton Hotels announced the global roll-out of its signature wine program to 430 hotels around the world. In celebration of the program’s success, Sheraton hosted a 24-hour “Toast Around The Word” at Sheraton hotels and resorts across the globe. “Sheraton Social Hour” now featured at more than 430 Sheraton hotels and resorts around the world.
On Wednesday, May 15, 2013, Sheraton Hua Hin Resort & Spa as a part of Sheraton Hotels & Resorts celebrated a fabulous ‘Social Hour’ wine tasting event at the kick-off Toast Around The World. Featuring a selection of highly rated wines from Concha Y Toro “Casillero Del Diablo” Chile, an impressive selection of Siam Winery Hua Hin, the evening was well-received by resort guests, wine lovers and medias.
Director of Culinary & Service, Andreas Schimanski opened the evening, welcoming all wine members to yet another fantastic event and introduced Thawath Sarakong, the Wine Sommelier of the resort. Thawath’s vibrant and friendly personality drew wine members as he personally presented the event in a new, more interactive way. Incorporated with Siam Winery Hua Hin, individual booths were set up from wine barrels for each wine where Thawath presented, served and explained the intricacies of each one. An assortment of international canapés were accompanied the wines.
