Hua Hin is for many of us sunshine, swimming, good food and friendly people. But it is also for some, unfortunate, accidents of various kinds. Not the least because of what is hidden in the nature in the form of insects, poisonous snakes and other unpleasant things. How can we protect ourselves?
Dr. Sithichsai from Bangkok Hospital gave a much appreciated lecture on this topic at one of our recent ladies’ luncheons. His illustrations and clear language made translation redundant. The starting point is “first-aid in emergencies”.
Another problem in Thailand is the poor state and control of the power grid. Perhaps more correctly; deficiencies at installation.
Too many people risk being seriously injured in the shower due to improper power management. Mr. Ingemar Jansson and his colleague Khun Warun will talk about at the next meeting. They will give us clear advice on what should be addressed. These instructions should urge everyone to reflect.
We will continue with the individual meeting “stations”. Among other things, you will have an opportunity to get individual counseling in various immigration issues.
The meeting on January 30th held at the Hotel Hilton in Hua Hin and will start as usual 6:00 p.m.
We plan to open the doors to the meeting room around 4:45 p.m. The entrance fee is 100 Baht with pea soup / pancakes or sandwich costing 200 Baht.
Very welcome to this important membership meeting!
