On 22nd and 23rd May, the T-Pop Festival 2015 will be held to promote a positive image of the country and travelling to Thailand for Thai and foreign visitors. Many Thai singers are very popular in both Thailand and other countries, especially China, South Korea, Hong Kong and Japan. Many people from those countries visit Thailand to attend stage performances of the Thai artists they admire.

To promote tourism in Thailand and encourage foreign fans of Thai singers to travel here, the TAT is organising the T-Pop Festival 2015 Thailand from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. on these two days at the Royal Thai Army Division 15 in Ram Rachaniwes Military Camp, locally known as Ban Puen Palace, in Phetchaburi. One highlight of the T-Pop Festival is a big decorated arch to honor His Majesty the King and celebrate his 88th birthday anniversary on 5th December. The event venue has three main zones.

The first is the musical zone where visitors can enjoy stage performances of well-known Thai artists Nadet ‘Berry’ Kukimiya, Mario Maurer, Parin ‘Mak’ Supharat, Nawat ‘Pong’ Kulrattanarak, Yuk ‘Son’ Songphaisan, Anuchit ‘O’ Sahaphanphong, Jirayu ‘Kao’Laongmanee. There are also more Thai singers and bands from GMM Grammy Thailand: Katthariya English, China Doll, Naphat Inchai-uea, Neungthida Sophon, Phakhin Khamwilailak, Thiranat Yusanon, Kanyarat Tiyaphonchai, Potato and Paradox. The second zone of the event is the Photo Station. There will be models of well-known tourist attractions in Phetchaburi and Prachuab Khirikhan: Phraram Rachaniwes Palace, Cha-Am beaches and the Hua Hin Train Station can be seen.

Those who post and share their photos on Facebook will have a chance to win prizes from a lucky draw. The third and last zone of the event is the Market Place. This zone has local and international cuisine to tempt visitors’ palate. There will also be souvenirs and local products from Phetchaburi for sale at reasonable prices.
