and the multitude of boutique and artisan producers all over this world,
all have rarity to thank for the mystique and, of course, price that go

Nikki Visootha Lohitnavy. Not only special for her talents as a winemaker but also
for the situation she now finds herself in as Thailand’s first ever overseas
educated and trained female oenologist when she graduated last year from the famous Adelaide
University in the heart of Australia’s wineland.
As winemaker of any winery there is a great deal of pressure, yet when the winery is
owned by your father the pressure just keeps on building. With her father being Visooth Lohitnavy, who as both CEO of GranMonte and President of the Thai Wine Association could pose real problems when trying to impress, Nikki, however, can rest easy. Her wines are
superb and a real testament to both generations efforts.
