The Hyatt Hua Hin hosted a heritage event at the McFarland House , their Beach Front Restaurant and historical Icon in a most fascinating and spectacular way.
The McFarland House is a historic stilted teakwood house that has been restored. Shaded by casuarina trees and in earshot of the sound of waves, the ideal spot to enjoy casual dining and wine. The Event started at the Barai Spa where GM Mikael Svensson and prominent guest Enzo Peroni inaugurated the evening with a homage to the location and Hua Hin History. Pictures of “ole” Hua Hin and historical points of the region accentuated the laudamus of the speakers whilst Thai dancers performed a traditional Thai dance. With other prominent members of our society amongst which the Ambassador of the Vaticanin Bangkok, the Deputy Mayor of Hua Hin and singer star Mint highlighted the attendance of the evening. Chef Saulo created a five course dinner in his usual manner, excelling in taste and presentation. Italasia presented the wines which, matched the food served with the Bendetti clan, Italasia owners, to answer beverage issues.
Music was performed by Maria and her brother with classical arias of famous composers through the lovely voice of Maria and young “Pavarotti” , her brother.
The entire evening , the service and F &B Team ofBen Perera performed service par excellence, never dropping a level.
Evenings like these call for repeat. The bottom line of all these endeavors is to promote Hua Hin as a top tourist destination. Both the hospitality and Municipality will need to hold hands in a professional manner. Any time is a good time to start through, especially right now. We all agreed that no time should be wasted. Hua Hin, here we come !
