Wildlife Friends of Thailand
In a presentation hostet by the Courtyard Marriott, – Edwin Wiek , founder and director of Wildlife Friends of Thailand shed light on the rescue center in the backlands near Cha Am. The Wildlife Rescue Center was founded by Dutch-born Edwin Wiek in early 2001. This center has given shelter to a number of different wild animals, some of them for a short period and for some of them it will continue to give shelter for the rest of their lives.
This sanctuary is dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of wild animals previously exploited as pets or used for profit within the tourist industry.
