Oct 11: Prachuap reports 83 new COVID-19 cases, 45 cases in Hua Hin

Health officials on Monday (Oct 11) reported 83 new COVID-19 cases, 45 were found in Hua Hin.

Elsewhere in the province, 28 cases were found in Pranburi, 1 case in Sam Roi Yot, No- case in Kuiburi, No-case found in Thap Sakae, No- cases in Bang Saphan, and also No-case found in Bang Saphan Noi, and 9 cases in Mueang Prachuap Khiri Khan.

One more death was reported today – a 77 year old Thai national who lived in Hua Hin district, had no underlying health conditions but who had not been vaccinated.

Meanwhile, 113 people were discharged from hospital or quarantine having made a full recovery.

Of the 11,566 cumulative total cases in the province, 1,254 are currently receiving treatment in hospital or are staying in quarantine, while a total of 10,827 have made a full recovery and have already been discharged.

Health officials say 42 patients are currently in a serious condition in hospital, while 336 others are in what is described as a moderate condition.

Health officials also reported a total of 507,852 vaccine doses have been administered in the province.

Of those, 281,915 people have received one dose, while 216,599 people have received two doses. 9,338 people have received a third booster shot.
